About the role
- The School-Based Mental Health Therapist provides individual and family therapy services to students receiving CSBBH services.
- This role works closely with students, families, teachers, school counselors, administrators, and other treatment professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, administrators, and support staff
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of practice
- This position offers the opportunity to work directly within an elementary school setting, helping students overcome emotional, behavioral, social, and trauma-related challenges while collaborating with families, educators, and support staff to support long-term success.

- The therapist conducts assessments, develops and implements treatment plans, coordinates care with families and school personnel, maintains clinical documentation, and provides therapeutic interventions that support student well-being and success.
- Clinical Supervision and Support
Requirements
- Complete progress notes, treatment plans, contact notes, assessments, and reports within required timelines
- Attend required staff meetings and professional development activities
- Flexibility required for occasional parent and family sessions outside school hours
Nice to have
- Experience providing therapy to children and families
- Trauma-informed care experience
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or families preferred
Compensation
- $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
