About the role

The pay range for this role is $60,000-$75,000.
Avocado is currently looking for a People & Development Systems & Operations Specialist to be part of the People and Development team.
This role offers a multifaceted view to the business, allowing you to learn how every department functions from the inside out.

We care for nearly 200,000 sheep and grow and produce our own natural latex from our own farms.
Compliance Oversight: Manage the auditing process for all personnel records and HRIS data to ensure 100% compliance with state and federal labor regulations.

Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (desk work).
Must be able to occasionally travel to various worksites, both domestic and international.
Minimum of 3-5 y ears of experience i n HR with at least 1 -2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
Highly Preferred: Fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively lead and communicate with a diverse, primarily Spanish-speaking workforce.

The ability to handle employee concerns with sensitivity and active listening while remaining objective. You must be able to address the personal needs of the individual within the framework of company policy.
Operation of computer equipment and other office machinery.
Clear verbal communication for leading meetings and training sessions in English and Spanish.

Proficiency in Workday (specifically Core HR and Recruiting modules).
Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to navigate ambiguous situations and find resourceful solutions.
Exceptional attention to detail, particularly regarding data stewardship and regulatory compliance.
The ability to handle employee concerns with sensitivity and active listening while remaining objective.
You must be able to address the personal needs of the individual within the framework of company policy.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Highly Preferred: Proficiency in Workday (specifically Core HR and Recruiting modules).
