Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including exposure to noise, vibration, dust, and job site hazards.

  • This role plays a critical part in exposing underground utilities, trenching, potholing, and site preparation while minimizing risk to existing infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate is safety-driven, mechanically inclined, and capable of working independently while maintaining strong communication with field leadership and crews.
  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Include but are not limited to the following:
  • Safely operate vacuum excavation (vac) trucks and associated equipment for hydro or air excavation.
  • Locate and expose underground utilities while preventing damage to existing infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, and field crews to execute daily work tasks efficiently.
