Responsibilities

  • In close partnership with the Beauty Marketing team, this role will manage day-to-day proposal development, partner closely with Sales and cross-functional teams, and play an integral role in supporting advertising revenue growth across Beauty and Style.
  • The role will primarily support Beauty Marketing, with approximately 40% of time dedicated to Style Marketing based on business needs, active pipeline, and priority opportunities.
  • This role also supports the development of brand-led opportunities and plays a proactive role in monetizing key initiatives with advertising partners.
  • Lead the development of strategic, insight-driven proposals and pitch decks for advertising partners across the Beauty & Style portfolio.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Research, Account Strategy, and Design to ensure proposals are delivered on time and clearly communicate People Inc.'s value proposition.
  • Develop strong relationships with Sales, Account Strategy, Research, Design, Production, and Editorial teams.
  • Support internal and client-facing conversations as needed, align stakeholders throughout the pitch process, and help ensure recommended programs are executable and strategically sound.
  • Create and maintain marketing materials that communicate the unique value proposition of People Inc.'s Beauty & Style brands to advertising clients.
  • Support the rollout of new brand-driven opportunities, tentpoles, franchises, and cross-portfolio initiatives to Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Apply data thoughtfully to support persuasive business storytelling.

Requirements

  • % Travel Required (Approximate): Less than 10%

Nice to have

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience at a digital publisher, media company, or related organization, with a focus on pre-sale marketing, advertising marketing, integrated marketing, or brand strategy.
  • Brand marketing experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
  • Understanding of the digital publishing landscape, media strategy, advertising products, and marketplace trends
  • Ability to use audience insights and campaign performance data to inform strategic recommendations
  • Self-starter who contributes proactive ideas, understands business goals, and moves initiatives forward
  • Familiarity with advertising product execution and production considerations preferred

Compensation

  • New York: $87,500.00 - $105,000.00
  • The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future.
  • Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.
  • The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees.
  • Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
