About the role
- This role serves as the principal investigator for security-related incidents, ensuring thorough follow-up and resolution of security breaches.
Responsibilities
- Will conduct security investigations; write detailed reports, and follow-through with law enforcement agencies to ensure that all necessary action has been taken, file and maintain all records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Maintains strong interface with all departmental administrators and staff to keep them informed on action taken to correct reported security/safety problems and status of others matters pertaining to the efficient operations of the department.
- Maintain accurate and organized records and files
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 year of relevant experience required
- Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.
Skills
- Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.

- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)
- Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Valid State of Florida driver's license
