About the role

  • This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate, coordinated digital models while facilitating collaboration between architectural, engineering, and construction teams.
  • This role is ideal for someone early to mid in their career with a strong BIM foundation and a desire to expand into project coordination, digital workflows, and integrated delivery.
  • Facilitate coordination meetings with internal and external project teams.

Responsibilities

  • The BIM Coordinator works closely with the BIM Manager and Design Leadership, taking on increasing responsibility as project complexity and system maturity evolve.
  • Coordinate and manage BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
  • Maintain model integrity including file structure, naming conventions, and version control.
  • Manage model updates and ensure alignment across all project stakeholders.
  • Support proactive identification of constructability challenges through model review.
  • BIM Standards and Process Support
  • Support the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
  • Technical Support and Documentation
  • Provide technical modeling support to architectural and engineering team members.
  • Support the integration of BIM workflows into project delivery and field execution.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • One or more years of experience in BIM coordination or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation and project workflows.
  • Experience with clash detection and model coordination processes.
  • Familiarity with tools such as BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, and Forma preferred.
  • Knowledge of Enscape, Photoshop, Rhino, or SketchUp is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
