About the role
- As the Operations Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of our Pompano Beach branch warehouse, ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. You'll oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics while coaching and developing a high-performing team.
- Working closely with Branch Leadership and cross-functional partners, you'll help drive operational excellence, support customer success, and contribute to the continued growth of BayWa r.e.
- As the Operations Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of our Pompano Beach branch warehouse, ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop warehouse associates and drivers (where applicable), creating a positive, accountable, and safety-focused culture.
- Drive productivity while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
- Partner with Sales, Logistics, and Branch Leadership to ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Promote and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards through training, inspections, and coaching.
- Manage employee scheduling, performance, workforce planning, and day-to-day operational priorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, streamline processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
Requirements
- Experience with inventory management, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
