About the role
- This is a hybrid role consisting of approximately 50% field-based and 50% administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- The Solar O&M Business Management Intern will support the Operations & Maintenance team in the coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement of distributed generation solar operations.
- Primary Responsibilities Operational Support Assist with tracking and organizing solar site operational activities and maintenance schedules.
- Support work order management, documentation control, and service record tracking.
- Help coordinate logistics related to field activities, subcontractors, and site support needs.
- Support data validation and business reporting initiatives.
- Financial & Administrative Exposure Support work order and invoice tracking, budget monitoring, and cost reporting activities.
- Develop an understanding of cross-functional collaboration within a technical operations organization.
Requirements
- Build proficiency in data analysis, KPI tracking, reporting, and operational performance evaluation.
- Develop professional experience with business systems, operational workflows, and strategic operational decision-making.
Nice to have
- Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or project coordination.
- Familiarity with renewable energy or industrial operations environments.
- Experience working with spreadsheets, dashboards, or business systems.
