About the role

  • This is a hybrid role consisting of approximately 50% field-based and 50% administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • The Solar O&M Business Management Intern will support the Operations & Maintenance team in the coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement of distributed generation solar operations.
  • Primary Responsibilities Operational Support Assist with tracking and organizing solar site operational activities and maintenance schedules.
  • Support work order management, documentation control, and service record tracking.
  • Help coordinate logistics related to field activities, subcontractors, and site support needs.
  • Support data validation and business reporting initiatives.
  • Financial & Administrative Exposure Support work order and invoice tracking, budget monitoring, and cost reporting activities.
  • Develop an understanding of cross-functional collaboration within a technical operations organization.

Requirements

  • Build proficiency in data analysis, KPI tracking, reporting, and operational performance evaluation.
  • Develop professional experience with business systems, operational workflows, and strategic operational decision-making.

Nice to have

  • Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or project coordination.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy or industrial operations environments.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, dashboards, or business systems.
