About the role

  • Overall Responsibilities: The Mid-Level Practitioner (MLP) plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA
  • Monitor learner progress and support skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals
  • Support the development and modification of behavior intervention plans
  • Collect, review, and analyze data to support clinical decision-making
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CentralReach
  • Provide guidance and support to BTs and RBTs during service delivery
  • Provide feedback to team members to support performance and development
  • Support utilization of authorized hours through effective scheduling and service delivery
  • This position works under the supervision of a BCBA to provide direct treatment, assist in clinical programming, and support the training and development of Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • The MLP supports learner progress by implementing treatment plans, assisting with assessments, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across assigned caseloads.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and intervention strategies
  • Minimum of 1-2+ years of experience implementing behavior intervention services
  • Ability to implement treatment plans with consistency and fidelity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coach, guide, and support BT/RBT staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and support clinical decision-making
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (CentralReach preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or related field required
  • Completion of at least 12 semester credit hours in behavior analysis or related coursework (or equivalent BCaBA coursework)
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

Nice to have

  • Active RBT certification preferred, not required

Compensation

  • $32k-$37k
