About the role
- This position: promotes and provides behavioral health interventions related to substance use disorders and mental health and mentor's Interns, and other clinicians.
- This role has the potential to evolve into a Clinical Leadership role.
- Work with the case management team as they arise in client's care.
Responsibilities
- Mentor other clinicians to ensure standards and support is available or provided systematically
- Collaborate with outside agencies, probation/parole, and family members.
- Establish/Maintain up to date records and an active case load assigned by Clinical Director.
Requirements
- Licensed LCMHC or MLADC with 1+ years post licensure experience
- Attention to detail and proficiency with computer software and be well organized.
- Prior experience training, mentoring or supervision of other professional staff
- Be able to function independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Comfortable with practicing ethical standards and boundaries.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and self motivation
- Adhere to agency standards and confidentiality laws.
