About the role

Contribute to additional responsibilities as needed to support In-Home Care participants and initiatives and overall organizational goals, ensuring flexibility and alignment with CASL's evolving needs.
Household Assistance: Perform routine household tasks, including, but not limited to, making beds, dusting, washing dishes, vacuuming, cleaning floors, and maintaining kitchen and bathroom cleanliness, in accordance with the care plan.
Training and Development: Attend within program requirements and budget at least 12 hours of in-service training each year to enhance skills and knowledge in caregiving and participant support.
Empowerment: Support staff empowerment through skill development and growth opportunities.

At least one year of experience in caregiving for a dependent child or adult family member.
Comprehensive Training - No prior experience required

Knowledge and skills in housekeeping, food preparation, and personal care.
Experience and skills in senior care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
Must complete 24 hours of pre-service training and obtain a certificate upon completion.
