About the role

Launched in December 2021 with gross assets totaling $200M, REIIF ended 2025 at ~$2.8B of gross assets.
REIIF has grown through its access to Forum's proprietary development pipeline and through the recent acquisition of Alignvest Student Housing REIT.
REIIF's portfolio includes 32 assets spanning coast to coast, making it the largest owner of Purpose-Built Student Accommodations (PBSA) in Canada.

Support project managers with cost reporting and variance analysis.
Support preparation of internal financial reports and lender reporting packages.
Maintain organized accounting records and project documentation.

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, development, or real estate.
Experience with bank reconciliations, HST preparation/filing, and month-end close.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/project management software such as Yardi and Procore.
Understanding of job costing and project accounting principles.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced construction and development environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation - We are committed to supporting your success and are offering a salary range of $65,000 - 75,000 CAD for this position.
