About the role

  • This position serves as the shift leader for the bar, ensuring operational excellence, adherence to service standards, and a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain OS&E budgets, inventories, procurement schedules, and tracking reports.
  • Support the setup and organization of guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, offices, and operational departments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, asset documentation, and storage organization.
  • Support hotel leadership with special projects and operational tasks necessary to achieve a successful opening.
  • Lead the bar team during assigned shifts and serve as the primary point of contact for operational needs.
  • Coach, mentor, and support bartenders and bar support staff through hands-on leadership
  • Foster teamwork and maintain a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Deliver warm, personalized, and efficient service to every guest
  • Build relationships with guests through product knowledge and genuine hospitality
  • Maintain awareness of guest satisfaction and proactively address service opportunities

Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, crouch/bend/stoop, reach, smell, and push/pull, the employee is constantly required to hear and talk.
  • Finger dexterity is required to operate a point-of-sale system, use of a jigger, and stirring with a bar spoon.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of high-volume bartending experience
  • Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
  • The OS&E Coordinator is responsible for planning, purchasing, tracking, receiving, storing, and distributing all Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E) required for the successful opening of the hotel.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
