- About Twist Bioscience Twist Bioscience synthesizes genes from scratch, known as "writing" DNA.
Responsibilities
- As a member of the Upstream Antibody Discovery team, you will perform wet-lab benchwork including mammalian cell culture, hybridoma fusions, and Beacon-based single B cell screening, including reagent preparation and QC.
- Record and communicate experimental details, draft reports, and deliver data with a high level of integrity and ethics
Requirements
- BS in a life sciences or technical field with 5+ years of experience, or an MS with 3+ years of experience in antibody discovery workflows.
- Strong foundational knowledge of in vivo immunization concepts, hybridoma fusions/culture, and single B cell screening techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze complex scientific data, troubleshoot processes under tight timelines, and autonomously prioritize tasks across concurrent projects.
- Direct, hands-on experience with Beacon single B cell techniques.
- Familiarity with downstream characterization tools, including Carterra SPR, Octet BLI, and developability assays (HPLC and high-throughput plate-based formats).
- Experience with ELISA, SDS-PAGE, protein quantification, and endotoxin assays.
