Responsibilities
- Lead the firm's tax function across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance and strategic tax planning.
- Oversee and optimize tax processes related to international, partnership federal and state, and partner tax matters including partner tax allocations.
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and partner compensation teams to implement technology solutions.
- Identify and implement best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of tax operations.
- Mentor and develop tax team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for our Partners regarding tax matters.
- Deep tax expertise applied effectively to solve problems and deliver results. Thinks critically, stays current with tax legislation and industry trends, and consistently demonstrates a commitment to quality.
- Strong people skills with the ability to build relationships and deliver high-quality service to partners, senior leadership, and colleagues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Proven expertise in international, state, partnership, and individual tax.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree (MST/MSA) or CPA strongly preferred.
