- Salary Range: $51,609.66 - $62,938.61 per annum. Responsibilities
- Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services.
- The Precinct Services department is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hands-on individual for the auxiliary full-time position of Building Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a specialization in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
- Reporting to the Maintenance Team Lead, the Building Mechanical Maintenance Technician (BMMT) is responsible for performing various maintenance projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, which includes acquiring resources and planning work activities to deliver projects according to plan.

Requirements
- Applicants must be/have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a property management and/or trades environment.
- Experience supporting or assisting with HVAC system maintenance and repairs in a commercial or institutional environment, or completion of formal training in HVAC or a related mechanical program.
- Hands-on experience with building systems and mechanical components.
- Experience coordinating construction and maintenance projects.
- Reference checks and a Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required as conditions of employment.
- All positions at the Legislative Assembly require applicants to be at least 16 years old and eligible to work in Canada.
- Valid BC Driver's License

Compensation
- $51,609.66 - $62,938.61 per annum.
