About the role
- The Operations Supervisor is a first-line people leader responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of a defined production area (e.g., Framing, Assembly, Integration, Test, or Fabrication).
Responsibilities
- The Operations Supervisor ensures that all teams operate safely, meet takt time and schedule targets, and deliver high-quality output in alignment with KPIs.
- This role manages multiple Team Leads and Operators and partners closely with the Operations Manager to identify constraints, support continuous improvement, and maintain flow across the work center.
- Ensure adherence to daily build schedules and takt time; escalate risks to production targets to the Operations Manager.
- Lead or support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation for issues impacting quality, delivery, or safety.

Nice to have

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including 1+ years in a formal or informal leadership role.
- Experience with takt time, standard work, visual management, and daily tier meetings.
- Proficiency in basic digital tools (ERP, Excel, production dashboards).
- Strong people leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
