About the role
- The Associate Sales Assistant will provide full sales support to one or more Account Managers for pre-sales projects and new business development.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, execute and manage follow up for all customer pre-sales and sales support needs including sample requests, regulatory and technical documentation, pricing & plant trials.
- Maintain all core supplier agreements, contracts, rebates, and confidentiality agreements.
- Calculate prices, prepare price letters and maintain price files.
- Support account manager with administrative functions including client visits, correspondence and reports. Assist in the preparation of customer presentations.
- Maintain business databases and generate reports, prepare and run reports from iCAM and keep all databases up to date.
- 3-5 years relevant experience, preferably in sales support, project coordination or customer service.
Requirements
- Ensure all required SAP data is accurate and maintained on an ongoing basis.
- Must be able to work independently with a service-oriented work style.
Nice to have
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience is required
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Technically savvy with demonstrated ability to learn new systems.
- Experience working with various software applications required.
- Microsoft office (word, excel, power point) experience is required.
- Intermediate to advanced level is preferred.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to take initiative and manage priorities required.
