Responsibilities
- Collaborate with welders, fabricators, engineers, and quality control personnel to achieve project goals.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition through regular inspection and maintenance.
- You will collaborate closely with a team of skilled professionals to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven at least 3-5 years of experience as a Structural (not ship) Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and fitting specifications.
- Strong knowledge of fitting techniques and the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to measure and cut materials accurately and safely.
- Familiarity with various types of metals and alloys used in structural fabrication.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot fitting issues.
- Candidates must be able to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in fitting operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Flexibility to work in different environments and adapt to changing project requirements.
