About the role

Responsibilities
- Designs and deploys highly scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions based on industry's best practices.
- Develops and executes architecture strategies, creating and standards to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Drives cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud migration strategies.
- Creates and maintenance of operational policies, procedures, and documentation related to physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Provides expertise in infrastructure engineering and supports development teams with application deployment and integration.
- Guides junior System Engineers, by offering technical assistance and support.
- Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.
Requirements
- At least one certification such as Red Hat Systems Engineer, Windows Administrator, or VMware Data Center Virtualization or Network Virtualization is required or the ability to obtain with 12 months of employment.
- advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies and concepts, such as virtual machines (VMs), servers, storage, and compute management with common hypervisors such as VMware, KVM, OpenStack, or Nutanix AHV
- expert ability to use infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, BitBucket and Git
Nice to have
- Master's degree preferred.

- Automates infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and techniques.
