About the role
- Summary of Role: GlobalFoundries Fab 9 is seeking skilled and motivated candidates to participate in the GlobalFoundries Maintenance Technician Program with Vermont Technical College.
- Candidates will be expected to work full-time while attending one Vermont Technical College course per semester, for 3 semesters per year.
- The program consists of 7 total Vermont Technical College Technical Courses all paid for by GlobalFoundries.
Requirements
- Able to wear all required clean room protective clothing and equipment for normal 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)
- An offer of employment with GlobalFoundries is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screen, as applicable, and subject to applicable laws and regulations.

- Alternating Week Shift Schedules:
- Shift Week 1 Week 2
- N1 (nights) Week 1: Sunday to Tuesday 07:00PM to 07:30AM Week, 2: Sunday to Tuesday + Saturday 7:00PM to 7:30AM

- GlobalFoundries Fab 9 is seeking skilled and motivated candidates to participate in the GlobalFoundries Maintenance Technician Program with Vermont Technical College.
- Candidates will be expected to work full-time while attending one Vermont Technical College course per semester, for 3 semesters per year.
- The program consists of 7 total Vermont Technical College Technical Courses all paid for by GlobalFoundries.
- The program offers internal technician skill-based courses and on-the-job training.
- Candidates accepted into this program, with successful completion, and satisfactory performance, will receive a certificate of completion, and will attain ~ 23 credits towards a 2-year Associates Degree in General Engineering.
- A candidate will be performing preventive and first call maintenance to support semiconductor equipment and its support equipment.
