Responsibilities
- Develop crew support for other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Direct practical experience working with mining equipment, particularly Komatsu PC 3000 & 4000, CAT 6020 excavators, CAT 992K, 993K, 988H front end loaders, electric drive haul trucks and various CAT ancillary equipment.

Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
- Must be Fit for Duty: Able to lift and carry 50lbs overhead, climb ladders, work at heights, etc.
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions: wind, rain, sun.
Nice to have
- 5 to 10 years technical experience in the Mining Maintenance Sector with an emphasis on loaders, hydraulic shovels, excavators, platform drills and boom drills
- 2 years' experience as a supervisor or an equivalent supervisory position
- Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician degree preferred but not required
Skills
- MS Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook)
- Pronto software experience would be desired
- MyKomatsu
- Cummins Quickserve and related programs
- Minestar
- Key Result Areas & Measures
- Focus on "visible felt leadership" spending at minimum 50% of time interacting with the technicians.
- Ensure key performance measures are actively reviewed with the technicians targeting fleet availability.
- Submit - at minimum - one Field Level Risk Assessment daily.
