About the role

  • The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating all second-shift manufacturing operations within their area of responsibility.
  • You will work onsite in Cleveland, OH Plant and will report to the Production Superintendent.
  • This role has a salary range $70,000 to $85,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with first-shift and night shift leadership to ensure seamless shift handoff and communication.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production operators and support staff.
  • Maintain staffing levels and coordinate overtime as needed to meet production demands.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment breakdowns and support preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and KPI tracking.
  • Support problem resolution with cross functional teams including quality engineer EHS and other support resources on campus. Resolve workflow problems by analyzing roadblocks and organizing work to improve use of personnel, material and equipment resources
  • The supervisor will drive team performance, enforce process discipline, promote continuous improvement, and 5s concepts.
  • Through process confirmation and building worker accountability, you will ensure that the shift is running safely, efficiently, and producing quality products.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Conduct payroll requirements for team members that you are assigned
  • Monday to Friday - 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm, with occasional overtime and weekend support required.

Compensation

  • This role has a salary range $70,000 to $85,000 depending on experience.
