About the role

  • Please note, this team is hiring across all levels and candidates are individually assessed and appropriately leveled based upon their skills and experience.
  • Netskope Endpoint DLP extends the Netskope Cloud DLP solution to data in use on employees' managed machines protecting it from loss and theft.
  • It seamlessly extends all the advanced solution capabilities of Netskope Cloud DLP to corporate endpoints to consistently identify, monitor and protect sensitive data leaving such endpoints via USB.

Responsibilities

  • Own complex technical initiatives end-to-end, from technical design through production deployment and operational excellence.
  • Strategically prioritize initiatives and technical workstreams to deliver the highest-impact and most time-sensitive outcomes, while proactively identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks to ensure successful execution.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and infrastructure stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Perform thorough code reviews and uphold a high standard of technical rigor and maintainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience building and operating highly available, distributed backend systems in production environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to express complex technical ideas clearly.
  • The ability to treat others with kindness even in tense situations is very important and valued.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control systems (e.g., Git, Gitlab, Jenkins).
  • Experience with observability tools for metrics, logging, and monitoring (e.g., Datadog, Grafana).

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required
  • Master's degree or higher preferred.

Compensation

  • $124,500 - $253,000 USD
  • At Netskope, salary is one component of our competitive total rewards package.
  • The salary range for this position is as listed below.
  • The successful candidate's starting pay will also be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions.
  • For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the On Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target commission amount at 100% goal achievement.
  • In addition to salary, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus plan (for non-sales roles) and a stock award program.
