About the role
- Job Description: The Project Engineer will assist the project team with overall responsibility for all aspects of the construction project.
- The primary functions of this role include quantity verification and payment reconciliation, RFI and submittal correspondence, material delivery coordination, work plan creation and review, and schedule reviews and updates.
- This role requires a strong sense of self-motivation, ability to work in a dynamic work environment and a passion for working with others to achieve common goals.
Responsibilities
- Help develop a strong team dynamic and positive work environment.
- Manage project specific safety plan in addition to corporate safety plan.
- Create and process: submittals and submittal logs, RFI's material delivery log, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
- Basic knowledge of scheduling software
- Ability to work independently
- Conflict management & resolution
- Effective communication with all levels of project stakeholders
- Basic understanding of construction methods and materials
- Requirements:
- Travel when required (Dependent on jobsite location and project)

Nice to have
