About the role

  • Job Description: The Project Engineer will assist the project team with overall responsibility for all aspects of the construction project.
  • The primary functions of this role include quantity verification and payment reconciliation, RFI and submittal correspondence, material delivery coordination, work plan creation and review, and schedule reviews and updates.
  • This role requires a strong sense of self-motivation, ability to work in a dynamic work environment and a passion for working with others to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop a strong team dynamic and positive work environment.
  • Manage project specific safety plan in addition to corporate safety plan.
  • Create and process: submittals and submittal logs, RFI's material delivery log, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Basic knowledge of scheduling software
  • Ability to work independently
  • Conflict management & resolution
  • Effective communication with all levels of project stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of construction methods and materials
  • Requirements:
  • Travel when required (Dependent on jobsite location and project)

Nice to have
