Responsibilities
- Manages production resources
- Collaborates with peers to prioritize and schedule work
- Forecasts, maintains and monitors daily schedules
- Maintains production slotting tool
- Manages schedules for assigned projects for on-time delivery
- Manages Engineering outsources for assigned projects
- This position does not perform CAD duties
- Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent
- Creates opportunities for employee growth
- Comprehensive knowledge of residential construction techniques, construction documents, building codes as well as technical and procedural knowledge of activities related to home building construction, including understanding plans & specs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or equivalent work experience
Nice to have
- CD development and construction expertise
- Project management expertise
- Outsource management expertise
- Understanding of Federal & State codes related to residential product
- Knowledge of structural elements and product installation means and methods
- Knowledge of lean, value engineering and costing principles and practices a plus
- Effective communication and organization skills
