About the role

We're looking for a business-minded Commercial Counsel with experience drafting and negotiating sales agreements with leading global and domestic organizations.
This is a full-time position based out of one of our US offices.
Ironclad, SFDC, AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Harvey)

Responsibilities

Support Fivetran's sales organization by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements, including MSAs, order forms, DPAs, BAAs, and related amendments
Partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Security, and RevOps to facilitate efficient deal execution while managing legal and business risk
Highly organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
High attention to detail, with demonstrated self-initiative that drives a desire for impact and achievement.

Skills

Working knowledge of data privacy, security, and technology contracting issues in a B2B SaaS context
Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Strong communication skills and comfort advising non-legal stakeholders
Admitted to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction
CIPP (US) certification is a plus.
