Responsibilities
- City and County of Denver e mployees may be re-deployed to work in other capacities in their own agencies or in other city agencies to support core functions of the city during a citywide emergency declared by the Mayor.

Requirements
- Experience in cost control and project budget management.
- Use extensive subject matter expertise and a strong background in bridge construction to mentor other team members when difficult construction problems arise offering solutions and coaching.
- Experience in dealing with the public as an inspector or project manager on heavy civil project, bridge/structures, or similar type work.
- Experience with concrete formwork, rebar inspection, bridge bearing inspection, structural steel erection, girder fabrications and bridge deck installation.
- Experience handling environmental contaminants on construction sites.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders on construction projects with a focus on collegial teamwork, de-escalation when necessary, and customer service.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field of study.
- Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
Compensation
- Position Salary Range
- $63,679.00 - $105,070.00
- $63,679 - $85,000/annually, based on experience and education
- oversees a $55-to-$70 million annual capital improvement program for the city's storm system, citywide bridge program, sanitary system, and green infrastructure.
