Responsibilities
- Provide mentorship to other technicians, offering problem-solving support and technical expertise. Develop and deliver training for new technicians.
- Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain credibility in customer, supplier, and co-worker interactions
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues to drive projects to successful completion in a team environment
Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally, with or without assistance.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, assemble, and manipulate small components and tools requiring fine motor skills and precision.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to operate or be trained to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles and trailers, including entering and exiting vehicles and securing loads.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment, which may include exposure to moderate noise levels, moving mechanical parts, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.
- Troubleshoot issues with products, parts, tools, or equipment, performing maintenance or rework defined/required.
- Drive company vehicles and trailers as required.
- 7+ years of experience as an electromechanical technician, assembler, or in a similar hands-on technical role
Nice to have
- 7+ years of experience assembling and testing complex mechanical products
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with tools and equipment: familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machinery
Compensation
- $27k-$35k

- Visual acuity sufficient to read technical documents, blueprints, and computer screens, and to inspect components for quality and accuracy (including close vision and depth perception).

- Role Summary:
- The Senior Assembly Technician works under the direction of the Head of US Operations - Heven West, following work instructions and procedures to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems, assemblies, and components.
- This role includes setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment, completing required production documentation, and training and supporting new technicians.
- With a strong focus on hands-on manufacturing and production-level assembly, the Senior Assembly Technician ensures high standards of quality control and operational efficiency.
- We are seeking a technician who is hungry, humble, and smart -someone who takes initiative to continuously improve processes and team performance, shares knowledge and supports the development of others, and applies sound judgment and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production environment.
