About the role

  • Safety · Responsible for the safety of self and individuals on the team and that of those impacted by any maintenance activity.
  • Control and organize the team's daily work schedule, monitor the completion of tasks.
  • Technical · Provide technical expertise to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Document breakdowns, identifying root cause and remedial action to help identify and resolve recurring issues.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, environmental, chemical and PLC control systems and equipment.
  • Manage maintenance projects performed by maintenance team or contractors.
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time.

Requirements

  • Apply specific technical skills as required to perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximize availability.

Nice to have

  • Ability to read drawings required, and ability to utilize PLC program logic for troubleshooting preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity, both verbally and in written form.
  • Practical hands-on approach to problem solving.
