About the role
- Safety · Responsible for the safety of self and individuals on the team and that of those impacted by any maintenance activity.
- Control and organize the team's daily work schedule, monitor the completion of tasks.
- Technical · Provide technical expertise to the team.
Responsibilities
- Document breakdowns, identifying root cause and remedial action to help identify and resolve recurring issues.
- Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, environmental, chemical and PLC control systems and equipment.
- Manage maintenance projects performed by maintenance team or contractors.
- Ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time.
Requirements
- Apply specific technical skills as required to perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximize availability.
Nice to have
- Ability to read drawings required, and ability to utilize PLC program logic for troubleshooting preferred.
Skills
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate with clarity, both verbally and in written form.
- Practical hands-on approach to problem solving.
