About the role

Behind many of life's most important transactions - buying a house, applying for a mortgage, getting a small business loan, or refinancing a credit card - is a network of credit relationships.
We're looking for a Strategic Finance Associate to join our Finance team and serve as a true business generalist.
From shaping financial strategy to supporting day-to-day operations, you'll be trusted to take on whatever the business needs most at any given moment.

Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product, and Engineering to ensure alignment between financial goals and day-to-day execution.
Drive financial visibility by owning reporting, forecasting, KPI setting, and board-ready communications.
Lead strategic projects that require both financial rigor and operational follow-through - from building models to coordinating implementation across teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects independently.
Setpoint provides purpose-built capital and technology to asset-backed borrowers and lenders. Our platform is the funding operating system for originators: it verifies and stores documents
it verifies and stores documents; automates critical calculations and compliance reporting; and digitizes assets like homes or cars.

4-5 years of relevant work experience with at least 2 years in Investment banking or Management Consulting and ideally, 2 years in a high-growth startup.
Strong financial modeling skills and Excel proficiency.

$135,000 - $145,000 OTE dependent on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Experience partnering with non-finance teams and explaining financial concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
