About the role

This position is to serve as the subject matter expert on the work being performed on the team and is the first point of contact for the employees on the work they are assigned for the day.
Ensures approved manufacturing methodology is being followed.
Ensures all safety rules and regulations are followed; investigates accidents in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.

Reviews, analyzes, modifies, and implements efficient and effective department processes, policies, and procedures.
Develops and communicates goals and key initiatives to improve plant performance and success.
Maintains knowledge of machine capacity and develops solutions for efficient utilization.

Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating direct reports
Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
Proven leadership skills
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
Interfaces with QA manager to ensure highest degree of final quality and develop new and better quality methods.
