About the role
- You will work closely with senior members of the team on core accounting functions, including preparing journal entries, and supporting the month-end close process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Support the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to gather information and resolve accounting-related questions
- Help maintain and follow documented accounting policies and procedures
- Support technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards
- Support ad-hoc projects and process improvements as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Nice to have
- Experience with NetSuite
- Experience streamlining processes
- 2-4 years of accounting experience (private industry or public accounting preferred)
Compensation
- $80,000 - $90,000 USD
- Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package.
