Do you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and collaborating with manufacturing teams to bring precision molds to life?
Where artificial intelligence or automated tools are used to assist in screening, assessing, or selecting applicants, this will be disclosed in accordance with applicable employment standards legislation.

As an Injection Mold Designer, you'll develop complete 3D mold assemblies that support efficient manufacturing, exceptional quality, and reliable mold performance.
Design complete plastic injection molds using advanced 3D CAD assembly modeling
Build and maintain detailed mold assemblies that meet customer and internal design standards
Create and release production-ready CAD files and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Support active tooling programs from initial design through manufacturing and final release
Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and Manufacturing to ensure designs are functional and manufacturable
Implement engineering changes and provide design support for shop-floor modifications
Perform minor surfacing modifications, including insert updates and geometry revisions
Ensure designs comply with customer specifications, industry standards, and best practices
Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Strong understanding of plastic injection mold construction and tooling principles
Experience designing complete 3D mold assemblies, including plates, actions, inserts, lifters, and related components
Proficiency with NX, CATIA, or other advanced 3D CAD software
Experience supporting manufacturing and implementing engineering changes
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced engineering environment

CATIA experience is preferred
training will be provided for candidates with strong assembly modeling experience in other CAD platforms
