About the role

  • The Senior Statutory Accountant is responsible for overseeing all aspects of statutory financial reporting for foreign subsidiaries and branch operations.
  • The ideal candidate possesses strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical capabilities, and experience working within multinational environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage statutory financial reporting activities for international subsidiaries and foreign branches.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process, including providing audit support documentation and addressing audit requests.
  • Review and resolve audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives focused on reducing gaps between corporate ledger and statutory reporting processes while enhancing understanding of local accounting standards causing reporting variances.
  • Develop and expand global balance sheet reconciliation processes using BlackLine across additional jurisdictions.
  • Supervise and support the India Statutory Reporting Accountant, including oversight of reporting deliverables and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics and reconciliation platforms such as BlackLine.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities with a high degree of ownership.

Nice to have

  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in a Big 4 or public accounting environment a plus.
  • Experience researching and documenting technical accounting positions preferred.

Compensation

  • The rate for this position generally is $80,000 - $110,000 annually.
  • This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law.
  • Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
  • Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law.
  • Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law.
  • A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
