About the role
- The Sr. Technical Support Engineer provides advanced technical expertise in the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and performance review of diesel engines and related auxiliary systems to improve reliability, system availability, and reduce out-of-service downtime. The role serves as a technical escalation point for shipboard teams during planned and unplanned
- maintenance, supports condition-based maintenance strategies, defines vendor work scopes and quality criteria, and leads assigned technical initiatives in partnership with Engine Asset leadership and Technical Operations. - Provides advanced technical support to the Manager, Diesel Engine, for planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
