About the role
- Company Description United Collective is a privately owned holding company that operates a marketing and advertising agency, a youth sports business and a ready-to drink-cocktail company.
- The company is based in Huntington Beach, CA.
- This position reports to the President with a strong dotted line reporting to the Group Controller and CFO.
Responsibilities
- Maintain books on QuickBooks; provide monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements to management
- Maintain accurate inventory in Ekos inventory system that matches with warehouses and QuickBooks Balance Sheet, and make sure the Cost of Goods Sold is correct on the P&L
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Must be well organized and detail oriented
- Ability to understand operations and work with a broad range of people
- Ability to analyze and give recommendations on business operations both current and future
- All licenses must be in compliance with Federal & State mandates
Nice to have
- Experience in an entrepreneurial environment preferred
Compensation
- File monthly, quarterly and/or annual returns with state and federal agencies ( FTB, TTB, CDTFA 1099's, Alcohol Excise, Manufacturing, Sales & Use, and CRV taxes)
- Annual and short-term forecasting of P&L and Cash Flow
