About the role
- Along with the CHRO, this individual will function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management across the company and its affiliates regarding key organizational and management issues.
Responsibilities

- Serve as a key member of the Corporate Human Resources Team in overseeing, developing, implementing and administering the full employee life cycle: recruiting, hiring, orientation, training, performance management and employee relations, labor relations and employee engagement.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the human resources management team in providing support to the entire organization.
- Develop strong professional relationships with company leadership through a collaborative consultative role.
- Manages senior level situations.
- Support the CHRO's role as a member of the 401(k) committee.
- Maintain a professional and ethical image for all employees across the organization.
- Results: The product of consistently going above and beyond to deliver exceptional value for the team and the organization.
Requirements
- Excellent working knowledge of all employment and labor laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, etc.).
- Proficiency in HRIS applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a corporate and multi-unit property management environment is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business.
- Candidates should be human resources professionals with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive human resources management experience and at least seven years of supervisory experience. Previous experience in a corporate and multi-unit property management environment is highly desirable.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge in all human resources areas including benefits and compensation.
- Ability to be adaptive and drive positive change.
- Focused, goal-oriented, "do it now" attitude with strong follow up.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Required Education / Certifications:
Nice to have
- Human Resources Certification (SPHR and/or SHRM-SCP) preferred
