About the role
- The Safety Specialist Coordinator is responsible for providing a high level of customer service through maintaining a safe environment for all clients, visitors, staff and physicians.
- This care is provided through direct and indirect physical and verbal interactions with clients, modeling appropriate behaviors for clients, and monitoring daily client activities.
- She/he screens incoming clients/visitors for contraband and inventories all client property as well as monitoring surveillance equipment.

- Is responsible for the on-going training of staff that are assigned to drive vehicles as it pertains to pre-driving safety checks, reporting vehicles issues, logging of such, etc.
- This position is also responsible for communicating safety trends, discrepancies, suggested improvements, etc. to the Program Director as necessary to maintain a safe and positive facility environment and vehicle operations.

Requirements
- May be required to become a certified ProACT in-house trainer.

- 22.31 - 23.00 USD Per Hour Working Location:
