Requirements
- Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience safely use hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and technical documentation
- Experience managing multiple work orders and prioritizing accordingly
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work with tools for extended periods
- Ability to work in shop environments and throughout campus facilities

- At least one year of experience repairing custodial, industrial, mechanical, or similar equipment
- Valid driver's license
Nice to have
- At least two years of custodial experience in the commercial/corporate industry
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Skills
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to use cleansers and other agents to clean floors and furniture
- Ability to use housekeeping cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions
- Ability to perform repetitive manual work
- Ability to do required lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
