About the role
- Job Description: Safe operation of a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
- Employee will be working with and near moving mechanical parts.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping duties.
- Maintain daily driver log, perform forklift inspections daily, and operate forklift in a safe manner while maintaining production requirements
Requirements
- Candidate must be able to identify and distinguish colors, stand for long periods of time, lift/carry up to 35 lbs., reach hands and arms in any directions and kneel/stoop repeatedly.
- A drug screen is required prior to employment.
- A physical may also be required as employment terms.
- The operator may also be required to perform order filler and checker duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift certification (TTI will train)
- Working conditions:
- Position is located at our Cookeville, TN manufacturing facility. This facility is heated and cooled. Employee will be working with and near moving mechanical parts.
- Physical requirements:
