Responsibilities
- Support executive-level decision-making through briefings, read- aheads, risk assessments, and actionable mitigation recommendations for senior civilian and military leaders.
- Assess and validate mitigation strategies by applying expert judgment on operational feasibility, industrial base capacity, sustainment realities, and defense acquisition authorities.
- Coordinate across acquisition, sustainment, logistics, engineering, intelligence, and operational stakeholders to drive integrated supply chain risk mitigation efforts.
- Support the refinement of methodologies, frameworks, and validation standards for defense-focused supply chain risk management initiatives.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of defense supply chains, strategic technologies, industrial manufacturing ecosystems, and Department of War processes and protocols at a senior level.
- 10+ years of experience supporting DoW, national security, defense acquisition, sustainment, industrial base analysis, operational logistics, or mission assurance initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) within defense, aerospace, space systems, sustainment, or related national security environments.
