About the role

  • Assist in the development of training and educational materials and tools.
  • Facilitate and serve as a single point of resolution for provider issues, including UM, prior authorization, claims, encounter data, eligibility, provider rosters, and directory validation.

Responsibilities

  • The Provider Engagement Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with provider offices to improve network performance, enhance provider satisfaction, and support organizational growth.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with providers and their staff to support growth, retention, and performance improvement.
  • Maintain weekly activity summaries and submit reports on a weekly basis.
  • Create provider in-service and implementation packets.
  • Consistently utilize, update, and maintain department databases and tracking tools to ensure provider engagement activities, visits, and outcomes are documented and monitored.

Requirements

  • Strong presentation skills with ability to address diverse audiences effectively.
  • Ability to travel 80% or more by car routinely in assigned market
  • Maintenance of reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and automobile insurance required.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Nice to have

  • B.A./B.S. degree preferred or two years relevant experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Compensation

  • $58,531.00 - $87,797.00 Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
