About the role
- The incumbent will learn manufacturing processes and apply robotics technologies to improve efficiency, repeatability, and reliability of operations.
- Experience in GMP fill and finish, including packaging, is highly desirable.
- This role focuses on the hands-on implementation and operationalization of robotics solutions, ensuring systems are effectively deployed and supported in production environments.
Responsibilities
- The Senior Engineer I will support multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and timeliness throughout the project lifecycle.
- The Robotics Applications Engineer will work closely with controls engineers, systems engineers, vendors, and site teams to deliver reliable and compliant robotics systems.
- Travel to support global project execution could be up to 25% during critical phases.
- Support installation, configuration, and commissioning of robotics systems
- Support validation documentation and testing activities
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams during system implementation
- Support integration of robotics systems with existing equipment and workflows
- Ability to collaborate across controls, hardware, and digital teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in robotics, automation, or manufacturing systems
- Experience with industrial robots (Staubli, Fanuc, ABB, etc.)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
Nice to have
- Exposure to GMP manufacturing environments preferred
- Technical Project Management experience a plus

Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $121,600.00 - $194,500.00.
