About the role
- Discipleship & Pastoral Care Relational Ministry: Foster authentic, discipling relationships by meeting students one-on-one and in small groups.
- Team Leadership & Recruitment Volunteer Management: Recruit, screen, and train a dedicated team of volunteers, ensuring adherence to Child Protection Policies.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all programming follows church policies regarding safety and security.
Responsibilities
- Senior Pastor Position Summary Redeemer Brooklyn is seeking a self-starter and innovative leader to build our Youth Ministry from the ground up.
- Design and execute a strategic roadmap to launch and grow the Brooklyn Youth Ministry.
- Develop highly engaging, theologically sound large and small group experiences tailored to the unique culture of Brooklyn youth.
- Create and implement an innovative outreach plan to connect with uninvolved and unchurched youth in the community.
- Provide gospel-oriented teaching and develop lesson plans for weekly meetings and Bible studies.
- Manage space requests, catering, and supplies for all youth events and Sunday activities.
- Develop the youth ministry calendar and communication efforts to keep families and the congregation informed.
Requirements
- Soft Skills: Must be a self-starter with high emotional maturity and the ability to adapt to change during unexpected situations.
Nice to have
- Four-year undergraduate degree required
- graduate work in theology or counseling preferred.
Skills
- Must be a self-starter with high emotional maturity and the ability to adapt to change during unexpected situations.
- Proficient in Google Workplace and Microsoft Office; experience with Slack or Asana is a plus.

Compensation
- $15k-$20k
