About the role

  • Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer Job Location: Mc Lean, VA Job Type: Hybrid (5 days on-site), FTE (Full-Time Employment) Salary: $115K - $120K NO H1Bs / OPTs / / L2.
  • Experience and Qualifications 10+ years of hands-on full stack development experience delivering enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong backend development expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Backend Engineering Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java 17, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
  • Implement persistence layers using Hibernate and/or OpenJPA with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Write clean, secure, testable, and maintainable code following established design patterns and best practices.
  • Define and maintain API contracts using JSON and XML.
  • Manage service configuration using YAML.
  • Frontend Engineering Build responsive and modular user interface components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Collaborate with UX and product teams to deliver features across MVPs and future releases.
  • DevOps, CI/CD, and Platform Enablement Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Containerize services using Docker and deploy/manage workloads on Kubernetes.
  • Support deployments on application servers such as Tomcat, where applicable.

Requirements

  • Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with cloud-native patterns and distributed systems.
  • This role requires hands-on experience with cloud modernization, containerization, CI/CD, observability, and production incident troubleshooting.
  • Solid frontend development experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with performance engineering and troubleshooting production incidents.

Compensation

  • $115k-$120k
