About the role
- Based in Elko, this faculty position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction across all areas of diesel technology, including heavy equipment repair, diagnostics, maintenance, and emerging industry practices.

- The successful candidate will work collaboratively with faculty, industry partners, and students to support program growth and workforce development.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or certified Diesel Technology trade school required
- Minimum of five (5) years of recent industry experience in:
- Strong technical knowledge of current diesel systems, diagnostics, and repair practices

Nice to have
- ASE Master Certification in Medium/Heavy Truck Technology
- Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or workforce development experience
- Teach lecture, lab, and hands-on coursework in diesel technology and heavy equipment repair
- Participate in faculty governance, committee assignments, and college initiatives
- Travel throughout the state as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation under the ADA
