Supports procurement activities, strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier portfolio strategy, market and risk intelligence, and ESG for suppliers supporting clinical packaging, labeling and distribution.
Supports supplier network assessment and mitigation of supplier risks.
Serves as the primary day to day contact to support the relationship between Gilead and assigned CMOs.
Lead and participate in Operational Excellence projects.
Develops metric parameters to evaluate and monitor the performance of CMOs.

BA or BS and 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech organization or relevant manufacturing environment OR
MA or MS and 8+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech organization or relevant manufacturing environment OR
3+ years in Strategic Sourcing (or equivalent) function.
Participates in CMO site visits as required.

Prior experience in clinical packaging, labeling, distribution and strategic sourcing.
Knowledge of GMPs and associated regulations (21CFR parts 11, 210, 211, 820).
Strong experience negotiating complex agreements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work under uncertainty and to resolve conflict in a constructive manner.
Ability to solve highly complex problems through ingenuity and collaboration with subject matter experts and other key stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

$182,070.00 - $235,620.00.
Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.
This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
Lead annual business review meetings (BRMs) with assigned CMO's as needed.
