About the role
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for providing nursing care for acute pain service patients and their families.
- Will act as the liaison between patients, patient care unit nursing staff, PACU/PreOp nursing staff, pharmacy, physical therapists, surgeons, and anesthesiologists.
- Will assist acute pain anesthesiologist with nerve blocks.
Responsibilities
- Administers medication, implements or delegates patient care orders, accurately documents, and evaluates patient responses to care.
Requirements
- One year of nursing experience required.
- Must be HIPAA compliant.
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
