Responsibilities
- Providing support to litigation attorneys, including research, retrieval of documents and service of process.
- Screening and reviewing incoming and outgoing court documents and ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.
- Assisting with other administrative projects or provide other general back-up support as necessary.

Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with rules-based calendaring software (e.g. CourtAlert, CompuLaw, MA3000, et al.) desirable.
- General level of knowledge of court rules and procedures in New York state and federal courts.
- An understanding of court docketing and calendaring procedures and familiarity with court filings and general rules of court for processing pleadings.
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Gibson Dunn will consider for employment qualified Applicants with Criminal Histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of local law.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- The annual compensation range for this position is $85-100k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.

Nice to have
- Experience working in a large law firm highly desired.
- Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in litigation docketing desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with rules-based calendaring software (e.g. CourtAlert, CompuLaw, MA3000, et al.) preferred.
- Experience with federal, state and local court systems, including electronic filing systems (i.e. NYSCEF, NexGen, PACER, et al.).
- General level of knowledge of court rules and procedures in Washington D.C. state and federal courts and agencies.
Compensation
- The annual compensation range for this position is $85-100k.
- The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
